Work

Through a variety of artistic mediums like text, drag, storytelling, dance, and video, my work documents my journey as a non-binary Lebanese artist navigating life in the diaspora. My primary aim is to enhance visibility and create a collective experience that confronts the shame often faced by queer Arabs. My creative expressions manifest as vivid stage performances in intimate settings, where I reinterpret childhood memories, effectively engaging in a form of queer archiving to promote healing. The theme of my connection to Lebanon frequently emerges, prompting exploration into the concept of home - its definition, the possibility of having multiple homes, or even the absence of one entirely.
